Located at the Chemical Park Gendorf in Bavaria, the facility serves as a demo plant, processing 1,500 tonnes of battery waste annually and extracting 100 tonnes of high-purity lithium carbonate. The company claims its process achieves costs that are twice as competitive as those of traditional lithium mining operations.

A full-scale facility is scheduled to come online by 2030, with a capacity of 45,000 tonnes of battery waste processed annually.
